Happy Holiday

I had NO idea it was the Fourth of July until Ryan asked me how my Fourth of July was going.

   ....

"Uh... Today's the Fourth of July?"

Needless to say, it was pretty bizarre and it would have been embarrassing if I was embarrassed by that kind of nonsense. I'm not. It takes a lot to actually make me feel stupid. I'm used to the feeling. It's like trying to make an anchor sink lower. I guess you could, but you'd have to dig a hole for it first and really? That's a lot of work.
I've come to believe that every day is a holiday in my household. since that's the case, who needs to have a specific day of fun and joy?
No one.

In protest, I am writing in black letters, just to show all the people who actually celebrate and have fun in life that I do not need it. So there.
