Birthdays

Today was a neat day, which doesn't happen much in my life right now. See the first picture? The one of the smelly guy in *desperate* need of a haircut? Yeah, well, he is the 'average jo' of my town. Uh-huh, we're working on moving.
Anyways, I hope you think it's as funny as I think it is. But, we just had to go SOMEWHERE, so we went to the beach...
At the beach my mom asked me to take a picture of her and my dad... apparantly he thought it was a dumb idea or something. He wouldn't give a decent pose. But, this is definately my favorite picture ever of my parents. It very clearly lays out their personalities :-). Plus, it's so stinkin' funny!!!

I tease him for getting old a lot, so he walks most everywhere with an exagerated 'old person' walk. ALWAYS makes me laugh.

Then we remembered there was a birthday party for my aunt, who hates having her picture taken. But, my cousins were more than happy :-).
This is Emmet. He is so cute and funny! What a ham. He wouldn't speak to me at all for awhile because I didn't look like my pictures. I can't help that I'm not photogenic!!! But, I guess that freaked him out.

This is twin sister Lily. She is also really really cute. I had a nice first talk with her also about the cow that had obviously just jumped over the moon ;-). She has a really fun imagination.

They're about three years old. I'm so bad, I can never remember how old anyone is.

Meet Jenna. She's been my best bud since, well, since she was born. She's about a year younger than me and we just hit it off famously. I have never had a bad time with her. We were just yacking away outside until I saw her dad's (my uncle's) new car. New to me at least. It's one of those ones that the bikini models stand next to trying to look all sexy in the adds. So, clearly, Jenna decided to do the same. I was laughing really hard, as usual :-). Jenna, again, making me laugh, again. She hiked up her sweats and posed again. My whole dad's side of the family does than instinctively. I swear, it's in the genes to do the 'sweats-pulled-up-to-your-chin-routine' everytime you want to make someone laugh. It works :-D

Birthday cake time! Lily was huffing so hard to blow out those darned candles for her mommy that she drooled everywhere and spattered that whole side of the cake with spittle. But, she did it and she was very proud of herself.
I love my family. I really feel lucky to have one like this. We all get along really well (just don't talk politics or religion and all goes well lol) and they're all so darn funny!!! Often I leave with an aching stomache from laughing so hard.
*yawn* tired over here.... Good night.
Oh, the cat came back unharmed :-).
