Have you ever met someone that WILL NOT stop talking?
I mean, not 'kind of talks a lot' or 'yeah, she can be obnoxious'. We all have days like that. I mean someone that CANNOT close their mouth?
Well, today, I met someone that COULD NOT shut her mouth. It was truly a gargantuan task. I never never, ever, EVER even come close to losing it and nailing an adult on something stupid they are doing. People younger than me, sure. People my same age, maybe. But NEVER an adult.
This lady almost merited an undesirable and completely-without-class quip by myself. I came SO CLOSE (as in- 'opened mouth to say it but didn't' close) to saying, "Do you EVER just stop talking?" With the marvelous tone to match. I am not even kidding. I was SO SO SO close to saying something to shut her up, but I am SO SO SO glad I didn't. It would have been horrid.
So, things I now know about this lady:
- Her favorite play
- Her opinions on our school's drama department
- Her various opinions on various students in the school
- Her husband is in Colorado Springs so she and her (presumably chatterbox) children will be eating cereal for dinner
- Her thoughts on the Kennedy Center
- And many other COMPLETELY unwanted and unneeded facts about her, her opinions, and her (apparently) whiny kids
Now if I could just learn her name I would know everything about her :P
You want to know what ELSE bugs me? Excessively harsh and negative people. They drive me NUTS.
