The Popemobile

Who thought of calling it the 'Popemobile'? Is it anything like the 'Batmobile'?

In any event, it is such a ridiculous concept... Why don't we have a 'Presidentmobile'? Or how about a 'Senatormobile'?

I will TELL you why we have a Popemobile. We have one because the Pope is a circus. We put contortionists and fire-breathers on display like that, not actual political or religious leaders. How am I supposed to take this guy seriously when he is in a gigantic fish tank strapped to the back of a pick-up?

But, he has his special papal robe on, so he is infallible (don't question the Pope when he has his papal robe on - I am not even kidding; that is a law in the Catholic Church).

I was thinking of making my dad a papal robe but I'm not sure how well that would fly... the Pope is such a joke around my house that the Catholics we know have even taking to calling us an occult group. Silliness, huh? But, don't argue with the pope! He has his robe on.
